Steve,
I enjoyed meeting you and using your agency.I would recommend it to anyone going to Medellin AND I would recommend Medellin highly.
The girls seemed more conservative,but thats not all bad.
Probably some real good wife material there.I am thinking about possibly moving there but will do 2 or 3 more trips if I get serious about it.Right now its Cali untill I decide to do otherwise.
How many guys do you have there average?It was alot when I was there,7 of us came in one day,not normal I would think.

Thank you for all of your comments and I also enjoyed meeting you and talking with you about your experiences in Colombia as I also learn a lot from talking to guys like you.

No, 7 guests in the Agency in one day is not normal as much as I would like this!  We are now averaging 2 guests per week.  

I've designed Colombian Sweethearts to give one-on-one, personalized service so that you are not just another guy walking in the door nor just another guy walking out.  I just hired a new full-time bilingual secretary, Lina, which now gives me a fulltime office staff of 3 (not including Dolly, the maid and everyone’s “Mother”) to ensure the quality of our service remains high.   My office staff is relatively new, but coming along very well in understanding how to personalize our service which is something we are constantly working on and with which I think we have done well with, so far.  

My staff:

Luz Maria:  Manager, Bilingual and lived and worked in the US
Lina:  Bilingual Secretary, lived and worked in the US
Angie:  Database Management & Computers.  
Dolly:  Cook, Maid and Mother
Patricia: Cook and Maid

I  also have Alexandra (excellent bilingual secretary) who works Saturday and Sunday, as well as a couple other part-time bilingual secretaries that come in when we need them.  

This is also have the small parties of 30-50 girls, as some girls we know you might never pick due just looking at her photos, but know this same girl "comes alive" when you see her in person and her physical beauty and personality are very evident.

Yes, las Paisas can be a little more conservative and are raised to be ladies, which means not chasing after guys.  They are raised in a very strong family environment, but which does not make them at all less passionate!  I personally think this type of girl, raised with strong family values, is better to marry, even though she may be a little reserved at first to make you prove to her that you are serious and not just like a Colombian guy looking for the “hit and run” or “quick kill.”

I just helped  4 very good guys from Houston to buy a Condo in Medellín and have helped  other guests with this in the past also.  Myself and my staff are always here to help you when you decide to make the move to Medellín.  I do not think you will regret it!

So our Houston Amigos did buy as Condo.I know they were seriously looking when In was there.Nice guys it was also fun to meet.
Dolly is great,I was intending to give her a big tip but never got back to the agency before I left.
As I said I may move to Medellin,the early stages of thinking about it.2 more trips at least required to figure that one out.I really liked the city.

I hope that you enjoyed Medellin.  It was a pleasure to finally meet you in person and I also enjoyed talking with you at Ronnie's barbecue.  

I hope that you follow through on my suggestion to research and publish "Still Married" Statistics.  I think it would be very worthwhile information for all of us and easy to put together.

Hola Steve, welcome to the board. glad to see you here. Your agency gets high marks from the board including me and you run one of the better agencies in LA. One issue from another member who visited with you about a year ago felt that there was not enough new members. Since i am most likely not going to go forward with my recent girl, this would be an issue of interest to me. That is, how is your advertising working? Any luck getting new woman?? any ideas on doing a private search or helping a possible repeat customer meet new woman. maybe a plan that includes a side tour to the malls, disco, etc?? like some feedback here. Also, aside from Medellin. how do you find women in other parts of the world? what is your second favorite place? Cheers amigo

Papi,

Thank you for the question about new girls.  We just passed out 10,500 flyers in August & September and we currently have advertisements running at this moment and I am planning on increasing this pace even more now that I have my office reorganized.

You can also see that new girls are being added on the site and tomorrow my staff will be activating approximately 50 new girls.

We also, just yesterday, installed a networked computer system similar to what you will find in an Internet café and now have 4 linked computers/monitors and will be adding a fifth.  This gives me a quicker navigation speed for all systems and I am also increasing my Broad Band to 256 and then 512 now that this new system is installed.  This gives me more capability to push up the pace even more

WINGMAN:  I see that you read my first site on "Guided Hunting Tours!"  I have not had a good hunting wingman since I flew F-15s, but I can see that you have that Fighter Pilot mentality!  

This "surprise approach" tactic has worked well for me as the women are totally thrown off guard, but the approach has to be very smooth and you have to stand in there and "take the punches."   I did find the wife for one of my clients this way.  I had stopped her in the mall told her about the Agency and gave her a card, which she said she would throw later away!   After a three months, she showed up in the Agency and a year later, her and her husband are very happily married and living in Florida, all to my surprise!  The Paisas are this way and you have to be a little more patient, but it is well worth the wait.

I always try to go out with my guests as this one of the things I really enjoy.  

We can definitely talk about a "hunting tour".

BEST WOMEN:

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!"  Old cliché but true.  

I do like Asian women for their femininity and I also like a little thinner girl.  I just flew back from Osaka, Japan and saw what I thought were some very attractive women but 1 or 2 out of every ten is attractive versus 7 or 8 out of every 10 in Colombia.  The Japanese girl often is so shy it is difficult to talk to her and if you try to give them a kiss on the cheek goodbye, as is so common even the first time you meet a Colombian girl, the Japanese girl will think you are trying to rape her.  Trust me, it just happened yesterday after having dinner with a sweet girl.

I fly to Almaty, Kazakhstan every other month, which has a mix of Mongolian and Russian ancestry and some very exotic woman.  I’ve met several girls in my trips there (due to my inability not too!) and  The Mongolian girls I’ve met all danced like professional belly dancers, were fun but all virgins due to their religion of Islam.  The Russian girls were attractive and sexy, but still lacked the softness or affection of a Latin Girl.

IN MEDELLIN

I am dating an 18 year old Colombian swim suit model (I wish we could post pictures on this site) who is studying psychology and main goal in life is to help people and have a family.  She is very interesting to talk to, has 3 beautiful sisters and her parents have been married for 25 year and has one of the closest families I have ever seen.  Her ex-Colombian boyfriend was 35 and she broke up with him only because he called her every 15 minutes due to his jealousy (rightly so!).  I think she is too young for me but she keeps telling me she’s not!

I am also dating a 20 year old fashion design student that is absolutely beautiful and visits her Grandmother every Sunday and almost never goes out (2 years makes a big difference, at least that is my justification).  

My 24 year old ex-girlfriend is an Angel and still cannot believe I broke up with her and I also was dating a gorgeous 34 year old accountant that looked 24.  

None of these girls have children, all have good  family and at 41 and ok looking, I never could find this caliber of women, even when I lived in Brasil and that is why I left Brasil to live in Medellín.  This country really is Paradise for me.

There are beautiful women everywhere in the world, but you have to look at all of their qualities put together and very honestly, without trying to be biased as a Marriage Agency owner, the Colombian girls have this for me, especially the Paisas.

i believe it...and am extremely jealous! can i get a job as your apprentice? I too am impressed with the woman of Medellin. the Russian thing has always intrigued me but not sure I am hip on their accents and it is a long distance.  I once read an article believe it or not about the beauties living in Iceland –same as in Russia the men in Iceland apparently abuse vodka so the woman want to meet foreigners and are apparently all beauty pageant gorgeous. I was seriously trying to find info at one time to confirm the article before I got started on my Latin adventures. Maybe with all your travels you could make an exploratory trip to Reykjavik and report back to the board. If good, lets start a branch agency – i will invest with yu. no competition

Very interesting post, Steve.  I wager you and I have very similar preferences in women.  Once in awhile you see a 'russian-mongolian' woman in a movie or in some unexpected place, and certain ones literally take my breath away.  However, virtually all of the eastern europeans I have met had an indescribable coolness or remoteness about them that put me off sooner if not later.

I find your posts about Brazil interesting too, since I had somewhat intuitively figured that Brazil was for me; since the Brazilians I have met in life seemed to be the most vibrant people I had ever known, and their highly mixed and dynamic culture and even music and art appealed to me.

So you landing in Medellin and living there gives me pause to think that whatever you have found there is probably good for me too!
