Hello board....

Well I can not say that I am new to this board exactly. I have posted here many years ago when "Hoda" Howard took his first trip down south. Oh how rude of me my name is Boyce by the way. I don't think that he remembers me but I don't see how when there were very few Black men on this board at the time but that is ok. I just noticed how much this board has changed since then. I have been reading this board for the past few months and I must say the bashing on each other in this room is crazy. I remember we cam here and told stories of our experiences down south so that we could learn from one another and share advice. I know that there are some guys on this board that do just that but the guys that bash know who I am talking about. I am not here to bad mouth your board I am just saying how I remember it back then. I wrote an e-mail to this Clay fellow because as a Black man I can relate to "some" of the things that he says and I wanted him to know that. I don't know exactly what this man has done in the past but to bash a man for his own opinion no matter if it conflicts with your own is just simply wrong. As a Black man myself he has said things that have offended me but that is his opinion. Hoda what is up man you have changed a bit bra. You know two Black men like  yourselves should not be at each others throat like this on this board and you know what I mean when I say that. I gues my real reason for writing this baord is to try and bring peace between you two. Howard the reason why I am asking you first is because I know that you would be the bigger man about this than Clay. Clay if you are reading this no insult intended but from what I read of your past posts and what you said about Howard in your e-mail to me I know that you would not be the first one to bring peace between you two. I could be wrong Clay maybe "you" could be that bigger man? Whatever the case may be someone needs to do it. Well I know that there might people on this board that will bash me for this but that is cool if they don't that is cool too. I really don't care about things like that and will not respond to it like some people will. I am just doing this for those two. If you two don't want to make peace with each other then that is cool also just remember where you are "this board" and who you are "Black".

HODA isn't expressing anything about Clay that others aren't saying or feeling themselves.  IMO and the opinion of most everybody else, Clay is a big whiner and his own worst enemy.  He focuses on the absurd and riduculous, while ignoring all the positives.  Even in the land of plenty, he's doomed to failure, not because of his color, but because of his personality....get it.

As far as two black men arguing, I don't see the problem.  Do you think all black men think alike or something? Can you imagine how stupid it would sound, if I said something like, "hey PeteE don't argue with Junno, because you know us white boys have to stick together".  Sounds stupid doesn't it!!!

Even if two "White" guys were bashing each other because they did not agree with each other I would say something because it is wrong and stupid. Grown ass men on this board bashing each other like a bunch of women because you don't like what this man has to say. Or because he express his opinions and you don't like them. I never said that they could not disagree with each other dam dude that is just human nature to do so. What you "can" do is respect that other mans views "GOOD" or "BAD" last time I checked this was the USA right??? All I am saying is if they disagree that is coo just do it in a way to where you don't have to bash each other what is the point in doing that? Like that is really going to change his views on things. I don't understand why youo guys are not hearing me on this. I am "NOT" trying to defend Clay. There are just two brothas on this board that have issues when it comes to having peace between them. Me myslef I just hate to see two Black men at each others throat bashing each other like that in any case any man but since they are Black I have to say something since I am Black myself. Maybe it is a "Black Thing" I know if the shoe was on the other foot and Hoda was in my place I know that he wound say something if he wants to admit to that or not.

This is an internet forum, people argue and discuss...this is what we do here...comprende.  The fact that Clay and HODA both happen to be black means absolutely nothing to me but clearly it means something to you.  HODA ain't expressing anything 20 others aren't expressing here but you've singled HODA out.  Why?  Because he's black.  You don't like it when black people argue with other black people because you're less concerned with dialogue or truth but rather the perception that all black people speak as one. This kind of "group speak" thinking really irks me.  You can call it a "black thing" if you want but to me it's just plain stupid.

No I understand perfectly. You think black people should not differ with other black people.  If I'm a black man and I find another black man's comments in error, silly, stupid, you pick the adjective, I should just remain silent.  The most important thing is not what a person thinks, writes, acts but rather the fact that the person is black, and black people don't disagree in public.  You came through load and clear Boyce....

Well, if a black man shouldn't publicly disagree with another black man, I guess a white man should not argue with another white man. Right?  Now, here is my quandry:  What should I do about Kented?  He constantly makes statements that he cannot support, he refuses to answer my questions, and he misrepresents facts.  I don't want to appear unseemly, so would you mind exposing him in the future?
