We need birth certificates for all of them, police records for those over sixteen indicating they are not criminals, diroce records for me and a death certificate for her late husband, civil registry indicating she is single and written permission from the sixteen year-old's father for her to leave the country.
We have gathered all these documents, all three need shots, my wife and oldest daughter need aids tests and lung ex rays and all three get doctor's exams. The embassy provides a list of approved doctors and places for the tests. It is a short list with two or three options and the prices are set so at least you can't be gouged.
Lots of papeleo. Your novia/esposa is Peruvian, right? I would suggest a trip to the embassy there to find out exactly what you need so you can begin gathering necessary documents. At least that time won't be added to your wait as it can be done while your petition is being processed.
