No offence phoenix, because we are same state brothers, but if you would get your butt in gear and head to Colombia , you would know first hand that Colombian Spanish is the most pure form of Spanish spoken outside of Spain
I learded to speak Spanish there and if you do not speak fast, you are going to get left in the conversation.
I have friends in Peru that ask me to slow down when i speak to them. They cannot believe how fast i speak and as well being a Gringo.
I suggest to anyone that wants "EMERSION" Spanish to try Colombia first.If you can speak there, you can speak anywhere.
