In my three years of reading and posting here..I have never seen the board with so many flame wars going on. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I have given mine here over issues as well. But the personal attacks just have really escalated lately. It just seems to be getting worse since Patrick is not here to tell everyone to cool it.

The Russian and Asian board have not degraded as bad as this board since Patrick has been away.

I really hope Patrick comes back soon.

What's your problem with a little controversy?  In case you didn't notice, a number of people have publicly stated that they read this Board because its entertaining (and informational).  Some say its infotaining.  I see a huge difference between conflict which has substance to it and a mere exchange of schoolyard insults.  Embrace the former - reject the latter.

Patrick is not your salvation.  Look to the future.  Dallas Steve and Burbuja are IN THE HOUSE!

OK Dallas, I'm sure you can get someone to help you with an appropriate response!

Information of substance: the embassy in Colombia is taking 60 to 90 days to process paperwork once it arrives from NVC. We are at the 60 day mark and should be receiving our appointment very soon. I also filed our K1 papers personally and received a rapid approval at the TSC (less than 60 days).

If so, what's your opinion of "To Be The Man" by Ric Flair?  As you know, its currently number 5 on the NY Times bestseller list for hardcover non-fiction.

I wish you the best in getting your appointment.  Give us a short synopsis of how you met your fiancee and what you plan to do.  Have you already discussed problem issues with her such as money, learning English, working, etc.?
