Why do some of you guys pick on Phoenix?

My interaction with him has been just fine.  He sent me a picture of him and his ex; seems like a nice guy.  Also, why the references to "Clay"?  Who, or what, is Clay?  Am I missing something? Apparently, I haven't been with this board long enough to know the history.

About the only time we hear from Hoda,one of our famous posters in the past,is when he is saying something about Clay.
Reminds me of a joke.A guys business partner steals all his money,his wife leaves him.Every thing is going wrong,he is destitute,a bum on the street.He is saying "why me lord?" The clouds part and a deep voice says"because you piss me off,thats why."
Reminds me off some others.
Gary Larson who does "the Far Side "Cartoon plays on this theme alot.One scene shows god,long flowing white hair and beard looking at a computer screen.There is a goofy looking guy walking down the street,right below a piano suspended bu ropes.God is about to hit a button on his computer that says "smite."
And another far side a  little different,it shows this fat faced kid with black smoke all over his face.There is a chemistry set on a table with test tubes broken,and a pile of black smoldering matter.The air if full of feathers.It says "God,as a kid,tries to make a chicken in his room."

No complaint here,other than wanting to hear from you other than in response to Clay.
Hey its almost five years since your famous first trip to Cali.Is it just me or were things more exciting in those days?And my ex threw out all my pictures of the Cristal
Palace.I saw John Bradshaw Saturday.We were talking about the old days there.He has been married 3 years,perfect wife for him,gives him no problems at all,goes along with anything he wants.And is a good looking 24 year old 19 years younger than him.A success story I would say.
I guess Joe G is about ready for a divorce with his second Colombiana.John was talking too him on the phone,she was yellng at him in the background telling him what a loser he is.For all the girls he dated he sure can't pick them.

And way more exciting. The whole adventure from my first night at the Palace, to the new addition of our family...has been very exciting. I would do it all over again. You have to admit, that the people, places & atmosphere are totally different, than those back in the day, at the Palace. Sorry to hear, that your ex, eighty-sixed your photos. Just talked to John.He just found out he is going to be a Daddy.We are getting together at James's place on Saturday.
