I am a former Federal Agent.  I enforced the law for a living. Everyone who is arrested will be brought before a Federal judge.  For a PC hearing.  It is just not true.

I wonder where people get this stuff.

All you have to do is read the Patriot Act. Its all there. At the descretion of DOJ a suspect can be held without access to legal counsel and without charges being filed. The federal court that they are brougt before is held in secret. Evidenciary rules are not in effect. Having been a part of the defense intelligence community for many years I can guarentee that in matters of national security there is a whole different set of rules and avenues available to the DOJ and NSA. As a "federal agent" you should be quite aware of them.

Sounds like we live in a communist country if what you say is true.

Government suspecting that my little calena is a terrorist and holding me indefinitely without due process (no evidence required!!!!). Neighbor turning in neighbor.

Well littlebhudda or should I say comrade, I hope what you say isn't true. Actually I know it isn't. I still believe in the good ol' red, white and blue.

We have the highest rate of incarceration in the world, and its going up, not down.  We are the most policed society in the world, and the rate is going up, not down.

I think you are missing the point.  Littlebhudda is trying to be helpful, and he IS accurate, and you are scornign him.  Not sure what gives with that.

Let me put it to you this way...the gov't looks at your posting in a manner not unlike if you were posting on a forum seeking ways to evade taxes.  In itself, that is a crime, kapish?

Maybe you better not answer that, the guy who used to talk about off shore bank accounts and tax schemes hasn't posted in a long time. Maybe they picked him up already.

No I wouldn't worry about it. Pete, openly admitted that he went to a semminar in Panama to learn how not to have income reported to the IRS my using foreign bank accounts and  he is still around.

I think they probably even sell books on tax evasion I mean avoidance. Isn't our country GREAT!!!

CP, I don't think you have too much to be concerned about. It would take a DA with major cajones(sp) to apply the Patriot Act to your ramblings on this board. Fortunately, the people that are empowered by the Patroit Act are committed to our freedom and I don't think any of them would abuse their power lest they lose it. I still believe too. My flag has never stopped waving.

I don't think what you talked about is even illegal,except for any part you have of her entering the country illegally.
But it sure isn't illegal to talk about,and the FBI is too busy to check up on stories of somebody talking about maybe doing something anyway.

To tell you the truth Pete, I really don't know what is up with the guy. I don't know if I did one of his girlfriends or not. Maybe he just read one to many of my posts and went over the edge.

The fact that someone would right to the government about my posts or even think that they would care makes me think he isn't playing with a full deck.

Sorry about that beenthere. To tell you the truth it's pretty sorry that I believed you would do something so stupid.

Well you know we never really did start out on the best foot with each other.

Just for the record, someone has been impersonating me on these forums (especially LWL, caligringo) for the last year after my real name was made public by a sicko on another forum.
Pete, you should know that I received a lewd e-mail from your hotmail address at my place of business a few months back.  Seems that someone hacked into your hotmail account.  I knew it wasn't you.  If you'd like a copy of it, give me a safe e-mail address where I can send it.
Guys, there are some sick people out there. (No wonder they have no luck with women).  Be careful what you post on these forums.
Sorry Calipro this is happening to you.......I wouldn't worry too much about this.  You should see some of the stuff this guy has sent me.

Wouldn't immigration and naturalization service or customs or border patrol be the people to question about this instead of the FBI? I think the FBI, if they even read that email, would turn it over to one of those agencies if it concerned bringing people inside US borders illegally from another country.
I think they have some kind of problem like that at the Mexico / US Border but you might have to ask the FBI about that since I am not an expert.

I was thinking the whole thing would probably be turned over to the CIA. Foreign country, smuggling terrorists (calenas) and contraband.

Also, sounds like it would make a good movie.
