Colombia has made the cover of National Geographic.  Below you will find the link to an excerpt from the cover story.  There is also an interesting "Sight and Sound" presentation at the link.

By the way, a machine gun toting Latina is on the cover of the magazine, which is available now on the newsstand.  So much for the image of the sweet Latina.

I just spoke to the machine gun toting latina at the newsstand, and she's not available.  In fact, she pointed the ak47 at me and ordered me to tell everyone on the list that Colombia is not a dangerous place for anyone besides Clay.
