Does anyone know how long this takes without paying for expedited service?

I got mine done at the American Embassy in Bogota.
Turned in in at 8 AM and picked up at 3 PM. Same day, if you can believe it!
It was really simple to do.

CALL THE PASSPORT OFFICE THAT ISSUED YOUR PASSPORT.  IF YOU ARE OVERSEAS, YOU CAN GO TO ANY US EMBASSY OR CONSULATE, AND THEY DO IT RIGHT THERE WHILE YOU WAIT.  I HAVE HAD THIS DONE IN SWITZERLAND AND RUSSIA.  WHERE IN
VIETNAM? I WAS THERE IN 67, ALL EXPENSES PAID COURTEOUS US ARMY.
