You can get a list of forms you need ferom BCIS here or from the American Embassy in Bogota. Lots of documents need to be gathered and you will be quized to determine if your relationship is genuine.
There are a lot of documents needed which they list. You need proof you are single and all the papers from every divorce, birth certificate, proof of income (1040's for last three years, pay stubs). Just figure out what you need well before you leave, get it and tell her what she needs to get before your trip, and fill out the forms carefully.
You don't need to be a rocket scientist to fill out the forms or to gather the documents but there are a lot of things to get and details to be careful about.
