?How long for cita after approval

Anybody have an idea how long the wait is for an appointment at the Bogota consulate after the application is approved?My date is coming up very soon and I am trying to plan some potential blocks of time for travel.Muchas gracias.

Our app was approved on 3/1/04 and Maria received her embassy notice for the interview in the mail on 3/17/04. So for us it was a little over two weeks. She went for the interview on 4/5/04.

After your novia receives her notice from the embassy, it's simply a matter of how quickly she can get everything together (docs, physical, blood test, etc.) for the interview. However, I understand that they've changed their procedure a little and no longer allow walk in interviews M-Th, 7-12. Instead they are requiring an appointment at a definite time and date. That should be stated in her notice, though.

How long did it take to get the visa after the appointment?

She returned the following day at 3PM to pick up the visa. I think that's pretty much the norm provided you have a clean case, other ladies that Maria met while doing her physical, etc. had the same experience.

"How long did it take to approve your application?"

Our app was received by the Texas center on 10/22/03 and approved on 3/1/04.
