I have an idea, when your fiancee has her interview with the INS, make SURE she asks the nice agent if it's possible to bring the family maid along too.  (-:

EC,  Did you really think this through prior to posting?
You already know it will be difficult to get your fiance to the U.S. much less a housekeeper.  How many Colombian women want to bring a housekeeper?  Answer: Not many.  Obviously this woman is not going to be doing any "housekeeping".  I think I might have missed it but, is she a silver spoon?
Things don't look good for you bud.  Maybe you could post a photo.  When we see her outstanding beauty we might see the point.

Although others have vouched for you in the past, this question is over the top... Any dumbass would know the answer to this question...

You wait for months to get a visa for your novia and then oh, by the way, can I bring my housekeeper too... No problema...

IMO, you got the kind of response this question deserves... If you don't like it, you can do one of two things: 1) Don't post stupid questions, or 2) GO AWAY...

after his "high maintenance" girl gets here and screws him over, i dont think you will hear much from EL COLOMBIANO again. i have never seen so many red flags in a relationship, but he still decided to bring her here anyways, incredible!!!!!

Abuse you??   I think you are abusing us with a question like that. Come on
you have to file paperwork and wait forever to get you girl here how do you
think you are going to get a house keeper up here too? Think before you ask
a question like this it will cause you alot less trouble in the future...

less than a month becuz of the Embassy Error???  You can hire a housekeeper already here for less than 10 bucks an hour. I don't understand why she would want you to spend your money trying to bring over a housekeeper unless something fishy is going on with Her.

He can't hire a housekeeper here for $10/hr. because he has to spend his money getting his novia's hair colored.  Remember?
Since you, little B and EC are all in Los Angeles, did you ever consider getting together and exchanging what some might call "thoughts and ideas"?

Maybe she can also bring you a machina de amor.  I'd also like to congratulate you on your continued skillful mix of the reasonable with the outrageous.

It takes YEARS of being a perm. resident or citizen before an immigrant can bring anyone. Even then it's only immediate family members. Unless you are thinking to do it illegally somehow. Heck, that method would probably work more smoothly than your current endeavor.

As EC's number 1 apologist, I'd like to point out the obvious to you.  Do you see how he asks for advice and then refuses to accept it?  Please tell me why he perpetually asks outrageous questions when he has no interest in the answers.  Do you see a pattern here?
