As soon as I got my computer hooked up to a cable by the cable TV company it got a virus.I posted below,guys said it was a blaster worm virus.I followed instructions from a web site and it seemed to go away.
Last night a guy from the cable company called me.He said my usage was high and it looked like a virus.I bought 1000 megs for 150,000 pesos a month.But the computer used 320,000 in 3 days.It costs alot,ala a cell phone in the US when you run over your months alowance.If they didn't warn me it could have been $1000.A guy came over today and installed Norton anti virus.hopefully that will do it.We will see.

Greg,
I thought of that but the guy had me going to the location where it shows my usage and it had it graphed and it was way up.And all they made was 40,000(about $14) pesos to come over and install their CD of Norton anti virus,which I needed anyway.

Pete, think about installing a firewall also.  Here's a free one that I use;
