BULL ELEPHANT CRAP!

In Bear's scenario, the man went to the Philippines to meet several penpals. At that point, he was not obligated to any. Finally he comes to a decision and makes a marriage proposal to one special lady. She accepts and they agree to marry. At this point they are committed to each other. He returns home and files for a Fiancee Visa. She had the opportunity to check out his competition before she made her commitment to him, in the Philippines. She could have said "no" or that she needed more time to make a decision. When she came here, it was as a fiancee, with the agreed intent to marry. She didn't come to the US on a tourist visa and pay her own way. Then she would have every right to "look around," which is what he did when he went to the Philippines.

I was STRONGLY agreeing with you. I replaced your bull with a bull elephant. Bigger crap! ;o)) Have you been smoking that herbal tea again? ;o)) I am saying that if the lady wants to play the field, don't commit to marry someone. Travel the world as a tourist, not as someone's fiancee.

I'm with the crowd. It's one thing when in a "pen pal" mode (likening it to casual dating,) but after a committment is made, such as becoming engaged, there's no way either party should be seeing anyone else. Hasta la vista baby!

I will go day after the New Year and Stephen will follow in two or three weeks and will spend two weeks in the Philipines....

Thanks Tess!  Yes I am hopeing to be in Philippines Jan  Its depends on how the end of the year turns out for me. If all goes well I'll be able to spend one month.  Maybe we could hook up over on Camiguin Island? I'll be in Davao, Dumaguete City, Siquijor, Camiguin and Manila.  Also The Coral Cay over on Siquijor Island would be a good place to meet up maybe some other PL and Maganakers would like to come too.   Humabdos
