Letter Writing

Just got back from a quick 4 day trip to Cali. This will be my longest post ever, but I believe there are some important points that can be gleaned as far as letter writing. CaliAdvisor was right about alcoholic beverages not being available during the week of the election and most of the hot spots for night life simply were not hot spots last week. I came prepared with my stash of Grey Goose and was able to get all the cerveza I wanted through my local connections. At a price of course!
The gov troops were out in full force, just as I was commenting to my girl about their presence, the taxi we were traveling in was stopped and thoroughly searched, we were searched as well. The troops were very business like, and I never felt threatened. The ordeal was over in less than 4 minutes.
My point in posting is I have been communicating with many women via writing. The cost to me? Absolutely nothing! I communicated with the woman that I visited this trip well over two months after finding her on the caliescali website. It is a pleasant surprise to the girls when they hear from an extranjero as the site is primarily geared to locals. She thought someone was playing a trick on her when I responded and didn't really start opening up until she was convinced that I was for real. Of the 6 ladies that I was corresponding with I selected her as the one to meet as she went out of her way to answer all of my emails in a timely fashion. The elimination process is also much easier when writing. She met me at the airport and was much better looking in person than on the photos. I was greeted with a flower and a smile that lit up the entire area even though it was night. We hugged, shared greetings, hugged some more, and off we went in the taxi. I traveled with a friend and he reaped the benefit of having a young lady there to meet him as my girl had set him up with a blind date. She was very attractive, if he elects to he can share his account as he is a fellow board member.
Before I arrived I informed my date of the times that I would not be available. I wanted to actually visit an agency with my friend and perhaps join to feel the 'experience'. I did visit one agency with my friend I didn't join or go on any dates, however, I did talk to an attractive young lady that was visiting the agency, I asked for and received her contact information. I'm sure I made many friends at the agency with that move. She didn't compare to my 'bird in hand,' and I didn't persue her. I actually had to leave her at the agency and get back to the hotel to meet my date. This is one time that Colombian time worked to my advantage, I was 20 minutes late for our date but thankfully she hadn't arrived yet. When she arrived I began to see her inner beauty taking over, she actually has a glow that comes from being a decent human being. She is attractive but combined with the inner beauty she is a beautiful person. This is much different than being thunderbolted with infatuation (check out the real meaning of the word). I decided to spend my last two days exclusively with her which was my best decision while there. We had a great time together, I met her family, she cooked for me and my friend and his second date in my apartment. Afterwards she cleaned everything even though I had maid service. I told her it wasn't necessary to clean, to her it was unthinkable to leave such a mess for someone else. Remember, always keep a keen eye on how they treat others as you will definitely see the same behaviour at some point in your relationship. She captured my heart when she asked me what else could she do for me and was happy to chill at the apartment or go out. Bottom line, she is a great person and I knew her basic makeup before I met her in person. For some letter writing is a waste of time, for me it could result in finding what I have been searching for the last 3 1/2 years. I will keep you all informed.
