Author Topic: Vaccinations prior to Colombia trip?  (Read 2232 times)

Hi,

I've been to Bogotá before and know that shots are not necessary for the average traveler.  I'm also aware shots ARE a good idea (maybe required?) if traveling to the lowland/coastal areas.  What I'm uncertain about is the places a couple of hours from Bogotá - specifically Villa de Leyva.  Is the elevation sufficiently low enough and the climate tropical enough to require the battery of "tropical" shots recommended on the CDC site?

Thanks for your help,

David
