Well I have just returned from two weeks in Cali. It rained the entire time. I had my computer repaired there for thirty dollars. I have been off line for two months due to a virus and an eager young man who erased my entire drive including all the programs. This is the first time I have looked at the forum and nothing seems to have changed in the two months ( very reminiscent of a soap opera). We now have looey B who has a very familiar style. Everyone is still trying to figure out if SHE is a shark or not. Maybe her mother did need the operation Bozo.
A new agency has opened and NO it is not A SCAM it was started by two guys who attended the TLC in June. They were so pissed that they are trying to help by providing a different alternative. They just opened in october. At present they need to smooth out the rough edges. They have an office accross from the inter continental and a house in Menga about ten minutes from Chipi Chapi. They way it is set up is more like a personals service. They have five computers for the girls to use for free in the office. No, I am not a shill. I flew over with them in June and we became friends. I am not a partner and they are not sending viruses. Its a new concept take a look its free.
Cali seemed barren of Americans. I met one gringo at the mall. Peter at Blues Bros says the farc threat to target americans has slowed down things in Cali. I visited Norman of Ms Gringuitos fame. He is still running a models site and trying to open a modeling school with Traveler who is in Quito at present. So I had a quiet time with my school teacher. It was almost domestic. scarey!!

Sorry, The site is my latin dream, which was discussed about a week ago and one of the members insinuated that it may be bogus and sending out a virus'. So I thought I would certify its existance as a legit site. It is just getting off the ground and I am sure that the owners would appreciate any impressions or advice the members have to give. They are providing state of the art communication technology and plan on video as well as cd rom info. drop them a line. JIM C

Hi Jim,

I wondered what happened to you...but glad to see you back.

A new agency, well these guys will learn soon enough that the agency business is a tough one and one that's tough to run from afar.  I give it six months to a year.

I think the only agencies that can make it in Cali today are  the agencies owned by Colombians. There's just too much competition for the fewer gringos that are passing through.  A Latin Best for instance can continue to do business based on past successes and very low costs but if she were starting from scratch it would be tough.

I'm not too sure about the personals aspect of their agency but I wish them luck.  I think a service that might be of use is a kind of marriage broker or personal assistant for guys when they come to Cali.  A gringo who is married and living in Cali might be able to offer such a service.  I think a married couple who understood the agency game in Cali could not only save a guy some money but help steer a guy away from sharks or from women of questionable character.

How is Norman? I will be in Cali this week and would like to visit with him while I am there. Please send his number offline. You've heard the expression there is nothing new under the sun, well your comments prove the point. I'll also check out the new agency and post my findings when I return.
