... in response to Country Clubs in Cali, posted by elcolombiano on Oct 14, 2002I have been going to Cali for about 3 years. I like yourself like to play golf and tennis. I have always played at the Falliones club in Jardin. aBout a 40 minute ride from the North. Now a friend on mine is a member there and that is how I have gotten in but I believe if you show in interest and speak some spanish they will let you have a mini membership. I would also call out of the phone book. There are NO public coarses. It is an interesting experience. There are no carts. You have a caddie, typically you can rent clubs and there are armed security at viturally every hole with machine guns. To be a member you must have money so therefore the club wants to protect their members from anything happening. A round typically runs about 100,000 pesos with clubs, drinks etc. Hope this helps...
