Cali Visit

I will be in Cali during the week of Nov 18-22. I remember someone posting on rates for a room during my visit. I plan on visiting Latin Best and taking advantage of the 1 week for $80, but I do not want to stay there. Please help.

Maybe it was my post. You can rent a two bedroom furnished apartments for 30.000 pesos a day that are within (longish) walking distance of Latin Best. They're also two blocks from Chipichapi. I would recommend "Suites House" . It is a small but very nice hotel en Juanabu not far from Chipichapi, La avenida sexta or La Flora where Latin Best is located. The phone number is 572-6520555 or 572-6616396 e-mail is suitho@colombianet.net. My other recommendations would include checking out all the other agencies and staying longer than 5 days. If you don't already know some women in Cali going down for just 5 days is kind of a waste.

 About the price , it was 150,000 peso or around $58 a night. The room I had was really like an apartment. It had a kitchen two bedrooms and a living room. The water is hot and the air conditioning is cold.

Thank everyone for the information. I had an opportunity to get down for a brief visit and decided to go for it. I will return in early January. American Airlines is offering some great deals right now $339 roundtrip to Cali, and $244 roundtrip to Medellin, both departing from Miami. These are internet deals, and you won't find them on their regular site. I think I can do some preliminary work during this visit and close the deal on return visits. Again, thanks for helping out.
