... in response to Chippy Sale!, posted by Ray on Jun 24, 2001

Hi Kumander Raygun,

That's a good deal for Chippy! Here Chippy is $1.29 for a small bag. I get the blue at the sari-sari and my favorite red (barbecue), at the Asian market. I love Filipinas, because they will tell you that Chippy contains corn, so it must be good for you. LOL Let us not forget that the tomato sauce on a loaded pizza contains lycopene, as does the ketchup on my burger. ;o))

Feel free to add verses to the song everyone.

Maayo Gabii, Abu Dave H.,

Oo, we'll do a singalong CD, "Campfire Songs of the Abu Sayyaf."  First we need some more tracks, so how about these:

- "Ang Hostage Kong Baduy"
- "Hold Your Head Up"
- "I Got Friends in Jungle Places"
- "These Heads Were Made for Rolling"

Jim, yea I know what you mean..I've been to quite a few places there..but, really haven't scratched the surface when you start putting it in perspective of there being over 7,000 islands. Even though I've seen almost all the main big and some of the medium big islands, there are still so many places on them I have yet to see and then there are the smaller islands, etc... So I am trying to get a feel for some really unique places that I may be missing out on considering.

Hum, you know that is one of my top choice areas too. But, I am still researching through all the options. You know I am amazed at how much they are already charging for land around there. But, I think the key is to live there awhile first, get into the swing of things, make quality friends, make good networking connections..etc and then go on the search. And of course Siquijor is right next door..
