to see women of very young age to be with much older men. At the same time these Colombian normally men do not consider marriage to their trophy girlfriends an option. I myself foound myself extremely attracted to a young Calena who turned out to be 17. Once I found this out I disconitmued my pursuit. I just couldn't think like a Colombian because I'm not Colombian.

I think the age of consent in Colombia is 13(legal).
Its a whole different world down there.They don't consider women children untill they are 18 or 21.
Some girls will be very conservative and maybe only had one real boyfriend.If the guy didn't blow it you wouldn't be meeting her.
I didn't mean all girls have loose morals,most don't,but there are enough of them to keep Jose busy.Actually he may have to put alot of time and effort in to the seduction but Colombianos can be very persistent.Its like a game to them I think.

I thought that too but it's not true. If they are seventeen or under in Colombia stay away! They're not legal and the DAS can haul you off to jail if you're accused of having sex with them.

It certainly is very common.I don't think they procsecute like here.The sister of a lady I know has been the mistress of a mafioso type since she was 14.If they ever went after them like in California they would need alot more jails.
As far as DAS,thats immigration.I don't think any gringos are going here.Is DAS involved with age of consent if the guy is Colombian?
Also,regardless of what the law in the country is the good old US can get you for traveling to have sex with a minor if she is under 18.A local guy is getting prosecuted on this.The girl,who he supposedly was going to marry is Chinese and somewhere between 13 and 16,she says she is 16.It didn't help his case that he paid off her parents a bunch of money,looks like child slavery.
I think we went here talking about these girls being experienced at 18-21,which some are some are not.Gringos have enough problems picking on the 18-21 girls and would be well advised to stick with 25 plus.

I agree it is very common and I suspect the law only comes into play if there's an accusation and big fuss involved or if it involves a foreigner. The DAS (Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad) is in charge of immigration and cedulas true, but also other police matters. They must carry those short barreled Uzis slung over their shoulders for something. I think if the court wants you investigated they're the ones who come and get you. No desire whatsoever to ever test this out.

They are really tough here.A couple of years ago there was this young Mexican couple,she was 17,he 18.They had a kid and were living together,he was working to support her and John Law wanted to charge him with statatory rape.I think the let it go after the uproar.Talk about taking it 10 miles too far.But California has taken this tactic because of all the young unwed mothers on welfare.They even have pictures painted on the back of buses showing guys in handcuffs saying 17 and you go to jail.They would have to jail about all the 18-25 year olds in a latin country.
And its one of those things they can use selectively if they are out to get you.Remember Jake Lamotta?These girls came in to his bar dressed like 25.They were about 16 and he went to jail after he and his buddies played with them.I guess owning a bar you shoiuld check their ID,not only before giving them a drink but definetly before getting sexual.Remember Roman Polanski?He has been hiding out in europe for about 30 years because of a charge like this.I think they recently dropped it.Maybe when the "victim" hits menapause she makes a bad witness.

Apparently there's been a recent rash of foreign internet porno operations involving Colombian girls, run primarily by Americans and Dutch. This has the Colombian legal system on alert. This is hearsay from friends in Colombia.
