Patrick,
I applied for but did not get a password yet from you so you can repost this or one of my friends who post with you can repost it. But I am curious as to why if it's an open forum I have not received a password?
I am sorry if you took offense at my last post to you. I was simply furious at the "identity theft". It turns out that the granmodelos service in Cali was not behind this and they are helping me get this removed from geocities. There was no threat intended towards this board which is a valuable service for men. It was aimed at whoever was perpetrating the "theft". It's one thing to post a slam on someone, it's another to illegally use a photo and make it seem that the person is endorsing a product or service which in this case I had no idea about, one way or the other. Then to use an extensive e-mail campaign to spread it further. The threat was to let that person know that posting or repeating a slander, is the least of their problems. The "good ol days" are coming to an end and the authorities are now willing to help withidentity theft cases. On a humorous note, two Latinas now having seen my picture want to write me!!

... in response to Message from LarryG, posted by Bueller on Aug 20, 2002

I assume it was him who registered LarryG.  The account was enabled yesterday and the password sent to an email address from the beachnet.com domain.

I can understand your anger, but please direct it towards those who are harrassing you rather than at Planet-Love.com or myself.  We don't control the internet, nor Geocities.

Best of luck getting the site taken down and your photo removed.  Unfortunately, any image that can be viewed on the internet can also be taken, modified, and displayed somewhere else in a different context.  About all you could do to protect yourself is to copyright the image and water mark it.
