Hey!!! ...its been a long time since I posted here (since October 01). I thought I would share with you guys how im doing with my wife. I just hit my 1 year anniversary (june 24th) !!!

Its been a wonderful year! I should say more of an action packed year...after I married my wife in Peru in June 01, she was to fly here Sept 16th,of all the weeks to fly in..but she made it here two weeks later. Then I had to find a place for the two of us to move to that we both liked, which took a couple months, ...she likes the city and lots of people, I like burbs and not as many people...so we compromised, and found something in the middle. Meantime, I taught her to drive, which she learned quick...but I bought her a new car, so she had incentive (and put lots o insurance on it...just in case).....once we got the car thing going...i helped her get a job in her field, dentistry..so she is a dentist assistant..however, she's a dentist, but she has to work for now as an assistant..(cant practice in the US unless go to an ADA approved college for an extra two years..uggggg....so, i put her in college classes to help her with english to get the wheels in motion for future dental school(she speaks good..just needs help with writing and grammar), the school thing has been good ...she met couple of people, one girl she met is from Peru (same area in Lima) and they are friends now and hang out together sometimes, which led to meeting a few more people from Peru....is like a colony ..is about 20-25 of them from Peru here nearby, they all know each other now..we are all going to Atlanta for July 28th (Peru Independence Day).....they are nice, but its still not the same as her friends from home, she misses them allot and her family allot too....she gets homesick sometimes...

....its not been so easy some days..but she has been strong and our love keeps us strong..I give her lots of support and understanding.......it helps for her to call..she calls about every week.....phone cards, couldn't live without me...she has experimented with a few kinds and found the ones that gives her the most time..a $5.00 card gives her about an hour to talk to Peru.....also she has traveled to San Francisco and Miami to see family and friends...this helps too.....and looks like her best friend will be moving here too, same city so they can be near each other while here.......I think one key thing so far, is both have set goals together to reach....right now, we are saving for travel back to Peru for Christmas, also she plans on taking a test to be a Hygienist around first of the year, with the idea of being a dentist couple years latter....lots of other hopes and dreams.....the future will see.........meantime.....I wish all of you the best in your search and journey for a latina soulmate and in your lives...my journey was/is full of great memories, and im looking forward to the future ones ....Golden
