OK enough of this Colombia versus Mexico garbage. The women in Colombia I have talked to seemed pretty cool and I have nothing against Colombia. I went to Mexico simply because that was my preference in women. I tend to go for short girls, with ghetto booties and big noses and fun personalities and most of the girls in Mexico have tourist visas and speak more english then most Colombian women. Guadalajara is an ok place to find a wife. I mean I know my novia is not a solid 10 but I would at least give her a solid 7.5 and her personality is 15. It was her personality that attracted me to her mostly. Colombia I am sure has tons of hot babes, I just had a limited budget, and time and wanted to accomplish everything in one trip and bring a girl back with me who has a tourist visa to live with me for 4-5 months before I get married. I have obviously accomplished what I set out to accomplish so I cannot complain about Guadalajara one bit. If you want a girl who can speak english fairly well, has a tourist visa, and a cool personality Guadalajara is a good place. These are the reasons I picked Guadalajara. You can find girls like this in Colombia, but they are harder to find. I did not pick Guadalajara because I had a preference for the women there  over Colombia because I thought they were hotter, I picked Guadalajara because of the simplicity of everything with the tourist visa, english ability, short-plane ride etc.. If you want to get a solid hot 8-9 girl, with no english ability and no tourist visa and have plenty of time and money to travel to Colombia 4-5 times and then spend $1000 on a immigration lawyer and then bring her in on the K1 visa and wait 3-6 months to get it approved, that is cool to. I just have my own reasons for doing what I did. I am not a 40-50 year old guy with a few hundred thousand in my 401 k and a large checking account and a six figure income. In reality I am a 27 year old guy, 5 years out of college, with a decent job making 50-60k, speaks good spanish but not a huge bank account but a decent cash flow and do not have the time or patience to fly back and fourth to Colombia 6 times and deal with all the legale B.S. with the K1 and wait 4-6 months to get it approved.

Mck,

You are one funny dude!

You say in your last post...."enough of the comparisons" and then you make all kinds of "subtle" comparisons about 50 year old guys, 401k plans, lawyer fees, etc. etc. etc.

I've never responded to your posts but I have a question for you.

Why do you bother with these long explanations about why you did what you did and how it compares to Colombia?

It's getting a little obsessive don't you think?

You might need a 12 step program to stop talking about Colombia.  Give it a try!  How about in the next 20 posts over the next 2 days, you don't use the word Colombia in your posts.  Consider it a challenge.

Wayne you're being unfare. He should only have to leave out the "C" word in the next 12 posts and after that be restricted to making comparisons with woman from Surinam.

My second choice would have been MX as well.  But, when I found out (CALI)  Colombia and the women there I had to see it for myself.  If things had not worked out on my first trip...I might be flying to Guad. rather than  back to Cali to be married in August.
