    I got my ticket AA Miami to Cali $417.00 thru American Travel. If you two want to meet I will referee. I arrive wednesday night the 19th. It would be interesting to meet for lunch, in the south if you prefer, Diegos' Il Cortile in Cuidad Jardin or north at Clowns in El Penon near the Dann. Regardless I will be in a great mood. It is always helpful to run with someone else in Cali.   JIM C

Calipro, I will be going on the TLC tour. The reason why I'm going with the tour is because I would like to have a greater exposure to the ladies. I've often heard that the TLC tours (in Cali) have the biggest turnout of women. I would like to see that for myself. Later.

 Hello: Keith

 This is the situation. You are the bait. TLC sends invitations to a lot of the women you have seen in their cataloges and they ask them to bring a friend. They tell the women it is a big party and that they can win door prizes, etc. etc. Before the women can meet you they have to let TLC take their picture and video tape them then they let them into the social.
The good and the bad of the situation is that only half of the women at the social have expressed an interest in meeting americans for the prospect of marriage and other half are just going to a party with a friend. This can be good because you will meet a lot of different types of women that you might never meet in a marriage agency. The bad part is some of these women have varing degrees of interest in marring an american (including not having any interest at all).
 The biggest mistake I have seen guys make at the social is not taking a pen and paper to write the womens phone number down. The guys at TLC do not know who these women are. If you let the women walk out at the end of the night and you don't have their phone number, you are going to have to wait until TLC's next cataloge comes out before you can contact her. The second thing is don't just stand around talking only to women that approach you. You should go after the women and get the numbers of the women you are attracted.
 If you don't speak spanish very well, you should make friends with one of the interpreters. The socials usually don't last all that long. It really isn't all that fun for the women when there are only 30 or 40 guys and there are 400 women. Don't waste a friday and a saturday night in Cali by just going to the social and calling it a night.

 Before the social ends I suggest you approach the most attractive women you can find and ask her to go out that very night. After all she is all dressed up and the social will get old very quickly for her. You can take the interpreter friend you made with you.

A strategy I used successfully at the only tlc event I attended was to print up business type cards with my foto, e-mail and the number of the hotel I was staying at. In addition to getting their phone numbers I handed the cards out to any girls that interested me. That way when I called them later they could put a face to the voice on the other end of the line. Also although they could pass the card on to someone else I was reasonably assured that if I got a call it was from someone I'd met and was interested in. It would be a good system too if you planned to stand outside the door and cherry-pick.

I must have met Wayne sometime over the past 4 years to Colombia, except I never travel to Colombia during the summer months.

I'd enjoy meeting up too, always fun to compare notes. Unfortunately I'm going to miss out this time since I return to the states on Tuesday the 18th. I'll be back soon though so maybe next time. Wish you all the best of luck.
