All,

Almost two months ago I posted about the rotten service I received from A Foreign Affair which sold me addresses that turned out to be just a name and a city and no phone numbers.  I complained to the service and the only response I received was an email telling me that it is against company policy to give out phone numbers of these Costa Ricans.

Since I had charged the address purchases to my AMEX card, I called AMEX and they removed the charge from my account.

Now, today, I received three of the women's addresses by email from A Foreign Affair telling me that they just received the addresses from the Costa Rican office and apologized for any inconvenience.  (Inconvenience?  Heck - I'm engaged!).  This suggests that the company listed the women's addresses for sale before they possessed the addresses.

Hamlet, sorry you had to go through that experience but how about somebody going to Barranquilla or Cartagena staying at a cheap/decent hotel and going to AFA to check out the girls with a seperate, ageed price. Is this allowed? I think its a possible option for people who are fluent in Spanish?--Colman
