Back from Cali...

well, I went back to Cali for another week. A little dissapointed. This is not an easy process. Most of the ladies worth spending time with work one or two jobs, and/or go to school at night, and on the weekend have family matters. It is more of you squeezing into their schedule. This is of course, different if you are fortunate to have narrowed your choices down to one or two ladies. If you are more selective and want to meet allot of ladies to be sure of finding the right lady...it is ALLOT work.

No shows, change in cita times, need to be home fairly early to get rest to return to work in the am, boredom from waiting during the day...can get a little discouraging. The agency route to me is hit or miss. Women cover the whole spectrum of personalities and looks.

For those of you who think that the women in Cali are chomping at the bit for a gringo to ride home with...get over it. I would rather live in Cali anyday, and most Calenas would also. Allot better city than at least 75% of American cities. Poor? Where? I found it to be a relatively wealthy area (Cali) with beautiful homes, restaraunts, stores...and of cource an abundance of hot women.

I will return again shortly, but I will also try my own add in the newspaper. Allot of outdated, in-accurate info on the ladies at the agencies. Or maybe I'll start a new and improved agency American Style...I've actually been discussing that with a prior employee of a now defunct agency. It would be nice to see high qualty, accurate photos in advance so you can decide wether to begin e-mail communication, and get there and recognize her, as well as get service American Style...how about a little organization?? I know I'd pay for the "difference"...

I don't think that a person would have trouble meeting good women who are more than willing to leave for the right man in Cali or anywhere for that matter. Its all on YOU. Not the agency. Period,

And as for comparing Cali to other U.S. cities, I live along the Gulf Coast and that's my comparison. No comparison. Cali the city is OK, but that's all. You must not have seen much of it. Makes me wonder about where you live. Plus, I can go out into the country side without worrying about being shot or kidnapped.

Again, it's all on you. You must be the very best person you can be and choose wisely.

anything about a problem meeting women in Cali. Agencies play an important part in the process, especially if they are not providing accurate, updated info, etc. I'm looking for a lifetime companion, a real love...at 44, I've have enough women to know what I want and what I have to offer. Fortunately, I can travel every month for a week...2 trips to Cali in 6 weeks...didn't find my "gem", however. It is not an easy process...Tigres' post is more accurate... Calenas have been picked over a thousand times by Gringos!!Gringos are a dime a dozen to the Calenas it seems. But the process in general will be a long one. I currently live in NC...but originally from Boston. Been to many US cities, most of the Caribbean, Costa Rica...I think I'm going to check out Barranquilla...I like darker skinned women. I loved the Dominican Republic...but not for a wife...they are beautiful, but hard core...the Caribbean Colombians seem to have a similar look...I figure if I'm going to go through the work and expense to travel to another country, will 100 x's the selection of women than here in the USA, I can be choosey...and wait for the right lady. I'm considering Lima and Quito as well. Have you been to either city?

I think in the long run you may be dissappointed with Barranquilla. I ended up becoming close friends with a girl who was the girlfriend of a cita I had in Barranquilla (I've already mentioned her, she's scamming the bejeezus out of some poor 28 year old gringo.) Anyway my friendship with the former is such that when I go to that city alone I stay at her house. OK so point being that my amiga (grad student at Atlantico) has told me many times that barranquillerras beleive basicly that we gringos have a bad rep. They see US movies and think we're psychotic and dangerous. I'm serious! The majority, if they are interested in forigners at all would rather meet espanolos or almost anybody from Europe more than a gringo. They are way more age conscious than calenas and usually are looking for someone up to five years older. This information is courtesy of my amiga, not just my own impression. I honestly beleive after searching in Barranquilla for almost five years that if you are over 35 you might as well skip it altogether. And if you fit under that criteria then get ready to find it real difficult to interest one of them in leaving their costa. Why did I try so long? For the reasons you mentioned: there are dark-skinned, Indian featured women who have a "look" that is unique to the north coast and they are striking for sure. I also think that saying calenas are picked over and sort of bored with gringos is completely stupid. Cali is a huge city compared to B/quilla.

The post by Cali vet was the most bull I have ever heard.  I was visiting Barranquilla when I was spotted by a model agency, I now work here.  I am an average looking guy, the girls in the states do not look at me.  If you are under 35 you will be treated like a god and the girls like dating guys 20 years older.  The post by Cali vet is complete Pro Cali Agency crap, don't get tricked into the Cali fly trap.  And if you can not find your perfect latina in Barranquilla, you won't find her anywhere.  My advice to Cali vet is to search your local Walmart for your 300 pound mate. I am 30 and I have my perfect 10, and she is 18 for the record.

Thanks for your advise but it comes late since I already have my "perfect 10" in Cali. Thing is, after your snit you still haven't offered any solid info about sexysafari or anything else besides a little self congratulatory hype.

You are correct, Cali has been picked over by a thousand gringos.  The women will still look at you in wonder and excitement in Barranquilla and other less traveled cities.  As for efficient agencies run the American way.  Try sexysafari.net, it is owned and run by americans who experienced the other agencies and knew the business could be done alot better. Better girls, better price, on time e-mails, your room is your room, ect.
