Aaron,
Well I guess Hilton's silence here confirms what many of you expected.
Why he would create a fantasy when he could have done the real thing I don't know.Maybe he didn't have the money to travel.Maybe he feels he needs to do it in such grand style reality would never compare.Maybe he just likes putting us on,like some other people around here.
He sounded sincere(even with alot of bragging) to me.Too bad he is just living the trip in his head.The real thing is only a plane ride away,and you don't have to be a hot shot high tech business owner.

Hilton called me today. He just got back to Joplin. CFI sent him on a l-o-n-g West Coast run, man he had to drop a trailer in LA, deadhead to Seatle, pull a reefer back to LA, stuck there without a load for 4 days and then finally a got run to Tulsa. One good thing though, he picked up a hitch hiker near Tucumcari and it turned out to be MCK's Mexican.

Never done it, biggest I ever drove was a 16000 gross small dump (like you see the highway dept maintenance crews using) but I've got some friends in the business.

Aaron it was just awfull, Hilton and I were on a bus on our way to Paradise Ranch near Palmira. It was stopped. I ducked down but space alien guerillas saw Hilton and they grabed him and loaded him on to a saucer shaped Toyota Landcruiser. I heard him calling "pechonalidaaaaaad" as it lifted off in a green dust cloud. I didn't report it because I knew no one would beleive me but mck's Colombia phone call-girl was on the same bus and she saw it all.
