Colombianos attitude to gringos?

With all those agencies blossoming in Cali and other places in Colombia I was wondering what Colombian men think about gringos coming over and snapping the girls? Does it not make them feel handicapped? And why would the young and attractive Colombian man stand less of a chance to score with a nice Colombian woman than a gringo? Or would he? Those who have visited Colombia many times: did you notice any negative attitude to you from Colombianos?

I never picked uo any negative vibes from Colombian guys but most I met were freinds or Family of my wife or working in agencies,restaurants or hotels.
The young attractive Colombiano does not have less of a chance to score,probably much more.The lady you will meet at an agency has probably already ben scored on by one or more,who may have left her with a kid or 2 he never supports while he also pursues several other women.Some Colombianas are totally fed up with Colombian men.But you also have to remember it is really a small percentage of Colombianas we see  in the agency circuit.Many have good husbands already.We are meeting the ones who didn't do so well.Of course money and opportunity has something to do with it,but if some Colombiano didn't already blow it we wouldn't be meeting the girl.Most Colombianas would settle for just a responsible Colombiano.

I have met several guys while in Cali and never received any negative vibes.  On a long horse ride in Colombia I was sharing their aquardiente and discussing women.  They were all of the opinion that American women were the most beautiful and sexy in the world.  They also all agreed that if they were going to marry a Colombian they would go to Medellin to look for one instead of Cali.  I guess the grass is always greener ....

Also I think there are so many available women there that the guys could care less.

I have to chime in here and say as a frequent traveler to different areas of Colombia that the posts by Pete and TexasRob are dead on the money. Colombianos could care less. The pretty brown skinned girls that some of us gringos find mind blowing are not worth a second look to them.

I was just in Bogota with my girlfriend and it seemed every guy was taking a look at her. I didn't let it get to me because she was with me and not with any of them.

Yes, if she had been with one of them that would have been cause for concern. Also I specificly said "second look".
