I was talking to my novia tonight. Fourteen more days left till her appointment at the consulate to get her tourist visa renewed. She was telling me that she needs a special meditation room for when she comes up here, so I am probably going to convert my office into her meditation room. She also said she needs one of the walls in this room painted purple. She claims purple helps her concentrate on her meditation for some reason. I can live with this lol. She also said when she gets here we are going to be having some kind of magical ceremony where we drink each others blood. Man! life just keeps on getting more and more interesting everyday.

I was reading along and was thinking give her a closet to meditate in,then the drinking blood thing.

I think you're right about the side show idea.

Most of the spew, factual or false, is just that.  Spew.

The closest thing this reminds me of is two street teens trying to out mojo eachother.

Also, the "what?" wounded lamb routine just makes it seem even more cretinous.

Fortunately, most readers are more than apt in putting this in perspective.  Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to make for much of a useful discussion.

I'm with you Pete, it was a bit amusing the first time but now it's turned into a side show.  The "bruja" stories Mck continues to tell over and over again, open his novia to ridicule and mockery.  I can't amagine why someone would want to do that to the person they love and I wish he'd stop if only out of respect to her.

No its not opening anything up for ridicule and mockery. The blood thing is supposed to be some sort of aztec ritual that is done by many people she said. As for the meditiation room, I think it is good because meditation is good for your health. What is wrong or strange with meditating?
