Thinking about my decisions

I have been thinking about what it would of been liked if I found the girl of my dreams in Colombia, instead of Mexico, and I have to say I am glad I went to Mexican Matchmakers. The one thing I like about Guadalajara is, it is a short 3 hour airplane ride, and I can get a flight on ATA out of Chicago for $300 and stay at my girl's house for a 3 day weekend, anytime I want. I would not of had that advantage in Colombia. My girl also speaks 50% english. The other thing is I can bring her up anytime I want to visit me, as soon as she gets her tourist visa renewed and also I can have a wedding up here without having to deal with the K-1 process according to my lawyer. Many of the girls in Guadalajara have tourist visas and if they have had one in the past it is easy for them to renew it. I look at what would of happend if I picked a girl from Cali, there would be a 90% chance she would not of spoken any english, 99% chance she would not of had a tourist visa, you would probably have to send money home to help her family, there would be a 3-5 month wait for the K1 to get approved, and with all the other stuff going on in Colombia right now, I am glad I thought about being practical and look at all the advantages and disadvantages of both Colombia and Mexico and picked Mexico. Colombia has some beautiful, nice women, but to me it just seems more of a headache to go to Cali then it is worth.

Hey Mck,

Is that the Concorde or something flying out of Chicago.  I'd be really surprised if you can get to Guadalajara in under 4.

For all the 3 day weekends you could spend in Mexico, how many have you?
