I agree that the Mexican sites leave a lot to be desired. I do prefer Colombianas, but there are plenty of hotties in Mexico too. I've been to various parts of Mexico and I think my favorite place for women was Guadelajara. I can't really explain why I say this, you just have to see it for yourself. It's kind of how I explain my Cali trips to my friends who think I'm nuts to spend all this money to go to Colombia. I just tell them that they need to see the women for themselves to understand...I like Mexico, but I still prefer the calenas.

Cali Vet, when's your next trip to Cali?

Hey with the airfares lately what "all this money"? Anyway I'm going to Cali Saturday. I'm sure you're right about seeing hotties when you're there (in Mexico) in person but I think you're being generous when you say "leave a lot to be desired". You going to Cali soon?

Well, in comparison to Mexico, Colombia is an expensive trip. I live in Tucson, about a 2 hour drive from Hermosillo, Mexico. It only costs about $175 to fly to Guadelajara from here. It doesn't stop me from going to Colombia though. It is a little more expensive, but well worth it...

Hey Suave

I've got family in Tucson out East on North Day Rd. !Que casualidad! You've driven down to Hermosillo? Five years ago I tried to cut south through the desert from Caborca down to the Seri Indian settlements at Puerto Libertad and Desemboque but there were just too many forks in the track not on the map. Seventy miles in I finally turned around not wanting to run out of gas. On the way back, thirty miles from Caborca and the paved road an Army patrol in three Humbvies stopped me and searched me down to my socks for weapons or drugs. To my amazement they didn't touch my cash. I saw exactly one ranch on that entire stretch. Later I made it the long way around via Hermosillo (on that high priced toll road) and Kino bay. Maybe I'll go back and marry me a Seri lady one of these days.

...where dating is the norm, not agency use. I have never used an agency. I post here because of the fact that I am living among latin (mexican) women that don't know anything about agencies. I know the main topic of discussion here is Colombian agencies. I am simply trying to present my observations as one who took the traditional method of meeting my wife in a public place, spent over one year developing a relationship, then marrying. I don't know anything about agencies nor do I pretend to.

Bottom line; there are beautiful women everywhere here in Mexico, and you probably will have to do your own footwork.

I have some time off coming up soon and would like to try something a little different than Colombia this time. Would you recommend Guadalajara for two weeks or somewhere else. I'm not really interested in the party places like Cancun.

My espanol is limited but I'm pretty good at getting around.
Thanks.

That is right. All you have to do is to go to Mexico, live there for .... say two years, meet a girl, date her for another year and then marry her. After that you mission is over and you can happily return to your domicile.

An ideal plan though highly unrealistic. That is why many of us rely on the agencies. There are ample of girls everywhere but it is what their intentions are what matters. Meeting (and dating) 20-30 girls (of your choice) in a couple of weeks is easy through the agency. Meeting (and dating) 20-30 girls by walking on the street is virtually impossible. Just because she applies to be listed on the net does not downgrate her worth. So everybody chooses his own path to meet a mate, some traditional some resort to the agencies.

Your method of meeting, courting and even living in country with your latina bride is idylic, a dream come true and for guys who live and earn a living say in Indiana or New Hampshire, wholly impractical, an impossible luxury, simply not an option; hence the reliance on agencies. The real bottom line is that there are beautifull woman in EVERY Latin American country but I'll stick to doing my footwork in Colombia.

As suggested above, MM only post those who give permission.  Perhaps the so called "First String" doesn't want their pictures posted....From what I've experienced and heard, I tend to think Mexican culture is quite a bit different than Colombian.

Take care,

Mark
