I have not read or submitted to this board in a long time.
My curiosity got the best of me and I logged in to see the current discussions.
Not much has changed other than the posters themselves.
This process is not easy as has been said before. Can you find beautiful women in Colombia? Sure without a doubt. Are they willing to marry? Yes
Are they the right one for you? That is the million $ question.
Some observations if you are kind enough to bear with me.
#1 There are a lot of guys going down there for a "Good Time" only.
They say I am looking for marriage but... the Kid in the candy store gets the best of them. The women know this guys! The good ones anyway who actually care.
#2 The process is time consuming. Documents out the Kazoo!
#3 If you start this process only because she is hot and turns you on... Your in for trouble.
#4 You marry her you also marry the family. Same as in the states.
She will not forget her family nor should she. Be prepaired for a lifetime of vists to Colombia.
#5 The women of Colombia are different and special but... they have the bad and the good just like everywhere else. Make sure of your choice.
#6 The culture is totally diferent. Because she may speak english don't mistake that for believing she understands all. We all know meanings can be far different from the actual translation
#7 200 women at a party for 30 guys. Do you really believe you can get quality time with a couple of women in this situation? No, I've been there. Kid in a candy store problem. The next day you don't remember the details... like names, faces, telephone #'s etc..
#8 Last but not least... These women come from a beautiful country that at the same time sucks. Don't fall for the notion that because you live in the states they will automactically be happy. We have our share of bull sh&% here also. It's a totally different world. Be patient.
Any way musings from a guy that has been there for a lot of years.
Take it, leave it, or spit on it - it's ok. Just my opinion anyway.
