My wife just received her visa yesterday YEAH! Exactly 2 weeks to the day from her first interview. I thought I would let everyone know what was required.
For the first interview not much

1. I-130 petiton for a relative
2. Her passport/my passport
3. Our marriage license
4. My Birth Certificate

For the second interveiw the only thing needed on my side was the I-864 financial document and all the supporting financial stuff. 3 years tax returns etc.. Everything else was on her side in which they explained to her what she needed. So all I pretty much did overkill by getting all the stuff listed on Gary Balas site but I guess its better to be safe than sorry. I would say overall it was ALOT easier than I expected. Dont waste your money paying a lawyer a grand if you are willing to do the research. So anyway the next challenge is the entry into Miami which I hear can be a little tough.

Congratulations! And thanks for the update. Will keep our fingers crossed that the U.S. entry goes smoothly. You're right about not waisting $1000 bucks on a lawyer, or more. That's for lazy people with money to burn.
