From what I observed(Barranquilla) there was no notable difference in how the ladies treated Latinos versus the non-Latinos.
The Latinos from the U.S. were considered "gringos" just like everyone else, as far as the ladies were concerned.
The *ladies gravitated towards whoever caught their eye, or peaked their interest. Everybody I saw, Latinos and non-Latinos alike, was getting plenty of attention from ladies.
* There were a number of young ladies(18-20) that came looking for specific "types"; Young, tall, blonde hair, blue eyes...or someone resembling one of the Back Street Boys or NSync. -Hey, that's the power of cable television and MTV.
Like people here in the US, some people gravitate towards the exotic, while others gravitate towards the familiar....different strokes, for different folks.
People have said it over and over again, BUT it is the truth....BEHAVIOR was the deciding factor in how guys were received.
