Pete E.

You mentioned that you take testosterone to enhance your weightlifting as well for general vigor purposes.  Can you recommend a brand?  To you take actual testosterone or a supplement to enhance the creation of testosterone within the body.  Presently there is a radio commercial in the Bay Area for a company that sells this type of product.  It pencils out to about one dollar per day in cost for a 3 month supply.

Thanks,

Colonial

The supplements probably do not work much. There is much BS in this area. Also some supplements like dhea and andestrerone can increase the female hormones as well as the test.I would avoid them.At best a waste of money.
I take the real stuff. You need a precsription or you have to go black market, which is easy with the internet.(and illegal).
Its best to do it through a doctor so you can get the blood tests to tell you where you are at.Most doctors will not supplement you unless your counts are extremely low.My clinic thinks different.Their possition is to put you at optimal leval.I take alot of other hormones also.I get them through Palm Springs Life Extension institute,Palm Springs,Ca.You have to go in for at least one appointment. It costs about $800 plus about $300 a month for the hormones, not including growth hormone.Growth hormone costs about $800 a month.I quit taking it because of the cost. The growth hormone benefits are subtle but valuable I think as you get older.I think the greatest value is strengthening internal organs, and your vasculular system. The cost is suppōsed to drop 60% or so soon do to a drug patent expiring. It hasnīt happened yet.
I have found many internet sources but the cost is not lower for the GH.I hope the price drops or I find an offshore source.
There are many other clinics in the US now.If you do an search under testosterone you will find them.Avoid all the supplement type legal stuff. Its worthless at best and a rip off.

Pete:
Thanks for the lowdown on testosterone.  There are also a bunch of products out there that claim to enhance the ability to produce growth hormone.  I assume that you have a similar low opinion of these products.

Thanks,

Jim

Jim,
I have tried some,I donīt think they do anything.Actually, considering the price of growth hormone
I should try it again and pay the $100 to get a blood test to see if it did anything.I tried a tablet.A friend tried a product you spray under your tongue. He thought it worked. It might be worth trying plus the blood test.Iīm sure it doesnīt work anything like the real thing, but if it could raise your count measurably it may be worth it.
There is so much bulls--t in this area.People make all kinds of claims that probably are not true.
At least I donīt think these products have a downside(other than losing money). Some of the testosterone inhancers
have big downsides.I still have some extra fat around my chest from taking massive dosses of dhea. Some clown from a bodybuilding suite was selling it with big claims and absolutely no warnings.I checked out liposuction in Cali.$900 to fix this vs probably $10,000 in the states, but I donīt trust them. The lady I talked to spoke little english. Not confidence building when someone is going to put you under and operate on you.I should  get alot of imformation in the states even if I eventually have it done in Cali.Maybe I will try to find an english speaking doctor in Cali.
I am not a big fan of the FDA or government control, but some of these people who push supplements that are useless or harmfull should be prosecuted for fraud.
