Argentine women

Even though Argentina is in South America, they have a strong European tendency. It's a generalization, but they (both males and females) think that they're better than the rest of Latin America.

The Argentine women are very passionate and have lots of self esteem, however...you must have something going for you above an American passport and the offer of a middle-class lifestyle in the U.S. They don't care about that. If you have above average income, looks, education, personality, etc...then your chances improve if your goal is to charm one of these ladies.

It does get more difficult, doesn't it?

Hi,

I don't think this is the right time to find a lady in Argentina.

You'll probably will "collect" the most desperate specimens you could find I reckon. And we all know that that is NOT a very good basis for mariage;-) They will "pop you off" as soon as they find a better catch any time. Just think of it.

Anyway Argentinian women were not all that eager to leave Arg, (except of course for Maxima...who's now marring our crown Prince Willem Alexander;-)But then again the guy is loaded with $$$$ (or shold I say Euro's!!) and has a title and is from noble background. Now that should say enough.

Remeber guys...arg. women are very very proud...but also  very playfull,and also very demanding.(IMHO) And on the same time they are also highly emancipated,or should I say "emancinazified'?;-)

They are NOT (I repeat) NOT to be compared with Colombianas,Cubanas or what ever SA-ladies.

ok...except maybe for Chilean and Uruyuan women..because they (IMHO) are nearly the same caliber as the argentinians.

I only know two girls from Uraguay they are very good friends.  I have met many people in business from Argentina.  If you marry a girl from Argentina you better have a lot of money for them to spend and many mirrors for them to look into and admire themselves.  They will spend a long time explaining their roots.  They want to make sure you understand they are Italian etc decent.  Argentina was one of the 10 richest nations in the world and therefore did not need a US Visa.  Now the country in in financial ruin.  I am curious if they start pouring into this country now.

either personal or someone you know, concerning women from Chile or Uraguay? Not much is mentioned about here about men searching for women in these countries. Doesn't matter if it's good or bad. Just share what you know.

Just a small sample, but I had several Uruguyan women working for me amidst the few dozen Mexicanas. Fortunately they moved on to bigger and better things. They were much more "Americanized" i.e. demanding, materialistic, and with a real princess attitude as compared to the Mexicans. I can't make any genralizations about wives, but I'd take Mexicanas as employees any day.

Thanks for offering those tips to the board. Your comments echo things I've heard before, that Argentinian culture is closely linked to Europe and the women are as materialistic as any gringa. When I listen to them speak Spanish it almost sounds Italian. Seems to me if one was going to chase argentinian women, might as well just go to Spain. Cheaper airfares.

short story. two years ago i was flying from miami to cali, next to me was a latin man ( i thought he was colombian), we struck up a conversation...turns out the guy is from argentina. i asked why are you going to cali, his answer THE WOMEN. i asked whats wrong with the argentine women. and he said are you kidding me...they're as bad as the american women...if you want a good woman you must go to cali.

You'd think there would be but I've never seen any in the usual lists. A few women, very few have shown up in TLC catalogs. Cybercupido.com may have some and one last idea is looking in the classifieds of any Agrentine newspapers you can pull up on the net.

If I am not mistaken, visa restrictions to the US for Argentinians were lifted some years ago. I suppose this would indicate that the State Dept. felt that Argies were not interested in immigrating here. This may change soon, as the Argentinian economy continues its meltdown.
I dated an Argentinian here in Noo Yawk some years ago. She told me that Argentina had killed off all of its Indian people. As I am more attracted to the "Bella India", I have no real interest in finding a lady from there. Apparently few others do as well, thus the paucity of agencies, especially since the ladies can come here easily.
I guess the regular sites such as Latin Bride or other such multinational sites may be the only place to find the stray Argentinian.

IMHO, Argentina would like the world to think of them as "European" Latinos, and nothing can be further from the truth.  Yes I admit, many Argentines have European features but when I think of "rubias" I think of Scandanavian women not Argentinas. Argentinas, the few I have met have that Euorpean look but it is also that masculine look(sorry my fellow Argentinos). Kinda like when Germany had two nations( East and West Germany--think of the 50's and 60's olympics-- I mean, yikes! these women did win many trophies but you would get confused if they came from the men's or women's competion--lol--please don't view this as stereotyping--its just an opinion. Whether the Argentines like to admit it or not, they too have a majority of the population comprised of Mestizos which is defined as Iberian and Native. Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia and to some degree Costa Rica have a very diverse popualtion--and I dont think this is coincidental when these countries have high marks on the Miss Universere competion but also are known world-wide as very attractive females. The differnce is, I believe the Colombianas feel very comfortable of having a very feminine aura--and I dont mind this at all----Colman

Please forget about Arg. woman...UNLESS you are imensly rich or/and very goodlooking!!! You are just waisting your time,$$ and efforts on them.

In general the Argentinians are NOT intrested in American culture or the USA. They are very highly orientated on Europe and it's culture their.

Now how painfull this might sound for many US males...THATS a fact.

If I were American I would look in Colombia(still numero uno despite the violence and the dangers),DR,Venezuela AND offcourse mexico!Maybe I am forgetting Central american countries.....?? Honduras and Nic.??
