packet 4 info

we have been scheduled a interview for june 19th. I called the embassy,thery gave a date cause we never received a courier with 3,but we have the forms and the info needed. So she scheduled a date. What i am worried about is not getting 4 ,what she said she was mailing to us on the 9th of may. does anyone know where to get the forms in 4 in case we dont get them. When i asked if we didnt get them,she said just go ahead to the medical exam,first week of June. You think they will have what we need? just trying to cover all the bases....Dane& Maribel...this is the Manila embasy we are dealing with.

Dane, yea that is what happened with us, just recently also..they forwarded all the documents to St Lukes...and they will give you all the interview letter, etc...I believe they are doing it this way quite often now.

So what you are saying is if packet 4 doesnt show, you can still go to the medical and get all your stuff there? I have a case number and passport for identification of fiancee. Was this enough for them to let her have a physical? Just want to make sure we dont get dropped in a hole during the process. Is this what you did, and all went well? please respond for clarification? Dane & Maribel

Dane, we submitted our packet 3 forms and then about two weeks later my fiance went and inquired about packet 4 at the Embassy window....The guy then told her to go to St luke to get packet 4 info. Now, I also called the Embassy a day later and they indicated the same to me. So it appears that once the packet 3 data is logged into the computer then they prepare a packet 4 and send it to St Lukes. Once you register with St Lukes they provide you with the packet 4 information including your letter for the interview. That's how it worked with us.

From what i hear you cant get the physicval unless you have packet 4, did you get packet 4 and mediacal exam same day...thanks for info

Dane to specificly answer your question... Yes, I believe the forms for packet 4 in this case were received in the packet at St Lukes that was sent over from the Embassy..She filled them out there, but it took a couple days to get everything done regarding the physical cause apparently it's majorly crowded there everyday.

Dane..All I can tell you is we received our interview date over the phone one day, but no packet 4 either...Then my fiance went to the window at the embassy with her packet 3 letter to show them and ask over and over for the forms etc, for packet 4, they just said no, no go to St Lukes. So apparently the Embassy prepares the packets and puts it all together and sends them over to Saint Lukes. At St Lukes you register your name and it corresponds to the appropriate prepared packet with your name on it, this enables them to begin carrying out the process of the physical and all that crap..Then after everything they put your physical results in a sealed envelope of some kind to go to the interview. Hey man..I know it all sounds strange from the way I originally heard things were supposed to work to. But that is what happened to us and many others also. And it all worked out no problem. This little alteration was only minorly confusing compared to the rest of what I have been through to get this @#%&^&$&$ K1 Visa!!!!..I should get a degree in patience for not shooting or blowing up things after all this crap..I know how your feeling, hang in there...Good luck...

Thanks Zeb, seems like this is what i was told also by a woman there,then talking to a guy,he said go get packet 4 at embassy. But we will check St Lukes first like she said,first week June, the interview is set for 19th. This has been a little stressful,but we both knew it going into this,so patience was easy when you plan and know what to expect. Its the unexpected that causes stress. We are both doing well,i am trying to decide what day to go to get her,but i want to wait till i know she has the visa in hand first.
