With the recent events increasing the time one has to wait, in order to make a connecting flight. I would like the recent travelers, to give an approximation of the time spent on lines. Many of us have to do the "O.J. dash" through some terminals to make connecting flights coming from & going to from S.America. Early warning would give guys a chance to re-schedule flights, to avoid connection problems.

Thanks in advance...

Hoda,
I went down to Lima about two weeks after the attacks here. I got routed through Newark, one place I DID NOT WANT to go through. I did not have a problem at all. Things went smoothly, but watch security there. I know you are from the N.Y. area, it was not good at all. To board the plane I had my passport out and handed it to the gal, she said she did not need it !!! Granted I don`t look like a terrorist, but the rules are the rules !!! Everyone is suppose to show one.
I would not worry about things to much though, it went real well. If I remember right I only had about an hour between flights and made it with time to spare.
Later,
Evan

I just went through the Miami airport on this past Saturday afternoon coming back from Colombia.  It took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to get from the mian concourse to the gate.  It was terrible.  I hope this is the excetion and not the rule!!!!  When I traveled to Colombia in November, I did not have any such delay.

Sounds like the delay wasn't getting through customs but rather going through domestic security to get to your connecting flight home. Well now I know I'll have something to do during my long layover in Miami: stand in line.
