Any of you guys have experince with the following:

Delta Airlines does have a direct flight from Atlanta - Bogota, which does arrive at 8:40 PM in Bogota

Aces Airlines does have (cheap) flights from Bogota - Cali, leaving at 9:40PM to Cali

Same with return

Aces Airlines Cali - Bogota, arriving 6:56 AM, Delta departure at 9:15AM for Atlanta

If you only have carry-on luguage, do u think this will be ample time (especially flight to Cali, go through customs in Bogota) to take connecting flights?

Thanks so much

Does anyone know which airlines run direct flights from Cali to Barranquilla? Avianca offers one obviously geared to business travelers that leaves at 6:30AM and gets in around 8:00am. I wouldn't mind finding something that leaves a little later. AeroRepublica offers a later flight but there's a connection in Bogota with a couple of hours layover there. Thanks

Hi james2,
Avianca has a flight from BOG to CAL at 10:30PM.
That is the one I am taking. I have heard from a Colombian friend that it may be possible to connect to an earlier flight if I get through customs fast enough. If possible the direct flight to Cali seems best.

You might also consider American Airlines with a flight to Miami first and then directly on to Cali.  You'd bypass Bogota and go through customs in Cali.  It should run you about $500 round trip.

Once I arrived in Bogota from the states kind of late for my connecting flight to somewhere else. I was flustered and worried and an airline assistent rushed along with me, basicly told customs I didn't have time and walked me to my connecting flight (which of course I made). At my next destination I arrived on a national flight so no customs inspection. Luckily I had the presence of mind to have them stamp my passport. Imagine trying to get by with that in Miami! Don't you just love Colombia!

James,
Try AmigoTravel.com. They saved me $140 over cheapest I found on the Net to Mex. I'm interested to see about Columbia.
