Medellins lack of agencies

Why is it that there are no agencies in Medellin? I mean it is the same population as Cali yet there are no agencies. Perhaps it is better off economically? Or they are still pissed about Pablo?
From what I have read or heard the people there are very friendly, helpful and hospitable. Would like to hear some response on this as I am seriously considering including Medellin in my travels in February.

The assertion that there are no agencies appears to be incorrect.

amigosintl"dot"com.  Reseller says it can provide personal introductions in Medellin. They probably use another agency.

sotb”dot”com says it has an associate agency in Medellin to whom they can forward your personal ad. Again a reseller.

The address resellers also list ladies from Medellin. Is it a bad thing that a city isn't overun by agencies? Let us know how it turns out.

my wife is from medellin and i can tell you they are beautiful and very friendly. there are limited number of agencies but there are a few you can call and get the contacts. if you are interested i can give you the phone numbers which my wife gave me recently directly from the yellow pages of medellin. john_paul32177@nospam.com

People from Medellin (paisas), in general, are very proud and hard working. I think it's harder to get a woman from Medellin to sign up in an agency.

My roommate went to Medellin a couple of years ago to meet a girl he established a friendship with through the internet. At first, she was interested and very receptive when he got there...but my friend can have very odd behavior sometimes. Her family wasn't going through the best of times (financially)...and she dumped my friend even though he was offering to bring her her. Those girls have a lot of self esteem.

I have heard from Cali agency owners that it is very hard to get a marriage agency going in Madellin because the paisas are much more conservative and are inclined to view an agency as an escort service etc. That's too bad because for those who like white girls it should be a paradise. It's well known for it's model industry with lots of Natalia Paris types.
