Wow TexasRob Pack just asked for a trip report and you gave us a great one! Sounds to me like you're becoming a Colombia adicto. That's a good hike up the cerro de Tres Cruces. I did it last year. I'm wondering where that river is you went horseback riding in. Bet you're completely ruined for gringas now.

man that was fast, ask and ye shall recieve. good trip report TexasRob. sounds like you had a great time..your hooked now you'll never be the same man again. that ricardo is a character isnt he? fun, upbeat , always ready to help . as for the secretary i think she has a boyfriend an american in the army. yup all colombian girls was the same way when cali-vet and i were there girls coming and going all the time, all you have to do is sit on the chair facing the door and watch them come in and out all day long...what a place. welcome back.

You got that right.  Ruined for life.  I have one thought in mind and that is to get back to Colombia as quick as possible.  I met a beautiful girl on the plane coming home.  We travelled together from Cali to Dallas, then she went on to Austin to visit her cousin.  She lives 4 hours from Cali and she invited me to visit her there.  I don't know that I will be it is something I will consider for sure.  

After knowing the warmth of the girls there, I could consider no other woman.

I e-mailed the girl I went with on the horse ride asking her the name of the place.  I will let you know.  It was a great time and everyone on the ride made me feel more than welcome.
