Howard,

I have a question. I am doing some long range planning for my trip in May. So far, I can see it isn't going to be as long as I would like it to be.

Basically, my contract for work here in the US ends May 3rd. My contract for work in Australia begins May 20th. My plane leaves for Australia on May 15th.

From these dates, I foresee only enough time for 7 days in Cali. I was hoping for a longer stay, but I'm bound by contract.

After this little trip, I probably wont be able to return for another 6 months.

What do you think? Should I just try to meet as many girls as possible during the 7 days; or if I happen to meet the girl of my dreams, just focus on her.

I'm going to make it to your wedding no matter what.

Aaron,
I wonder what the tourist visa situation is Colombia to Austrailia.If you did meet someone maybe she could visit you there.Also your plane leaves early for Austrailia.I´m sure that could be changed for a price if you meet someone in Colombia.Of course I know you need time to adjust before starting your new job in Austrailia.
Then again there may be some Aussie girl who does not yet know what is headed her way.

The only way I will date an Australian babe is that she has to have big brown eyes, dark hair, nice figure with incredible hips, and love to dance Salsa.

Now, if I meet a girl like that in Australia, then who would figure?

I was able to renegotiate the ending date for my contract working here in the states.

This way, I will be able to spend 10 days in Cali. It is better, but I would like to stay longer.

Most likely the tourist visa to go to Australia is easier for Colombians. I have heard of some migrating there, and to New Zealand.

Also, they say it's easier for them to find work there.

I'm going to Cali in May for 10 days, and I hope I meet the right girl that I can settle down with. I'm 27 now. I know that's still young, but I feel mature enough to marry.

Pete, I'm looking for a girl that is between 22 to 27, light skin (I'm attracted to white Latinas), brown hair, dark brown to black hair, or blond hair. Nice figure. Likes to work out, dancing to Latin music, and mature enough to understand my professional responsibilities. I don't care if she has 1 child. That's ok.

Talk about tight...Yikes!!! I would just focus on the "meeting" part, unless you get blessed by meeting "the One"! Definitely, and I do mean definitely be up front with the ladies about your contract commitments. If they want to keep in contact, fine. If they don't...that's fine too. I would be dancing EVERY DAYYUM NITE, if I was you. Lord knows what awaits you, in the land of roos, crocs & sharks.

If you run into someone really really special. She'll wait for your return. I still would focus on the meeting & mixing part. Six months is a long time. You'll wanna visit family & friends also, after that stretch of time. Check your vacation allowance with this country. You'll be eating up a good chunk of your time just traveling alone.
