any positive energy you can spare-- send it to the ocnsules at la embajada... Luisa's cita is at 7am. Needless to say, I'm stressed, wondering whether I actually dotted the 'i's' ad crossed the 't's' in the way the embassy likes...

who was the general that said 'never take council of your fears?'  i need some of his vibes now!

The marriage is legitimate and you seem to have a good grasp of how things work here and in Colombia. The State Department (i.e. Embassy in Bogotá) is better handling paperwork than the INS. And, besides, they know first hand the format and buzz words of Colombian birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc.
