Add to that if she's in one or more agencies and she's pretty or sexy in her photos she's going to be asked for interviews every time another American Airlines/Aces/Avianca plane loaded with gringos lands in Cali. That is unless you make an engagement committment with her and she pulls out of the agencies.

Now I know where your head is at...IN THE CLOUDS; BETTER YET IN THE GUTTER. Any man that proposes to a woman within weeks of meeting her is either too immature to understand what marriage is all about, crazy, desperate, or a snake. Which one are you?

Any woman who accepts an offer of marriage within weeks after first meeting a man is the same. So the next time you go to an agency, ask to see all the sexy, immature, crazy, desperate, or snake-like women. You can take your pick.

You should be allot wiser than that in your 50's. My dad, who is in his 60's, taught me better than that. And my mom, always told me to avoid accidents waiting to happen.

Engagement and marriage is not like a lottery, contest, or race to the finish line. And from the way I see it, if the girl is in that much of a rush to get married, then let her go. I'm a good catch, and she'll be missing out for some other desperate pick-up artist.

With this strategy, a guy that wants to play around will always win because all he has to do is to make the new younger girls believe that he's serious, show her a cheap ring; then after a couple of months back out of the relationship after he has gotten all the sex he wants.  

Many of the girls in the agencies think the idea of getting engaged too quickly to someone that they hardly know is ridiculous, but the dumb and slick mamacitas are all for it.

Aaron,

I agree with you on what you say about taking some time.  If it's for the rest of your life, it might not be too much to wait a year or two.  I'd expand that to say, if you choose the person you will commit to wisely.

I think there are some deserved negative perceptions with MOB, but hopefully the people that complete this process are establishing healthy relationships.  I think sometimes people are just curious about how you met, but there are definately spoilers out there.  It seems like you could say, "We met over the internet", or "We met when I was on vacation in Colombia (or Brazil, for me!)."
