Hear is my response to our Cali critic on Latin Women List.
Read the sentence again.I said "Cali is still the number one place for a guy to go in terms of the number of availiable women he can meet."Emphasis on "women he can meet".
The other places you mentioned may have alot of pretty women,but we see almost no reports about them here.A few in Panama,one or 2 in Brazil and zero from the other places you mentioned.Availiability and ease of meeting the women is the key issue here.Even if you don't like agencies you have to admit it is an easy way for a gringo,particularly one with limited spanish,to meet alot of pretty latinas.I stand by my statement.The only possible competitor in terms of volume of women to "easily meet" is Bogota.We don't here too much about Bogota so I assume Cali is still the place.
Yes its possible for a guy to go off to a country that is undeveloped in terms of large numbers of women seeking gringos and have success.If you speak the language and are assertive you might meet someone.If you don't speak the language it would be much more difficult,but not impossible,but your odds are greatly diminished from the Cali scene.Keep in mind most guys don't speak much spanish and have limited time
to vacation seeking a latina.If a guy has a bad experience he may never try it again.
Going to a good agency in Cali assures a guy of meeting alot of women.He does have to be carefull who he chooses,but just the number of opportunities will probably get him back again and again untill he is successfull.The attention you get from lots of pretty women is a life changing experience.You don't want to fight the odds in the US after that.
Yes we do hear horror stories,out of Cali and elsewhere,but I have read maybe one where the guy didn't ignore alot of red flags.We have some recent success stories also,read Rafael on Planet Love.I personally know 7 guys married to Calinas and about 10 more or so from the lists who have marriages that seem to be working.
Maybe things have changed somewhat in Cali,but I will still stand by my statement.If a guy was looking for an older more proffesional women less likely to want kids and more likely to speak english I would recommend Bogota.
I have no problem with a guy wanting to get off the beaten track and try new places as long as he is persistant enough to keep at it untill he has success.I think many newby's could get easily discouraged and give up.
Let me make another plug for agencies.A guy I know went to Cali to meet a woman my wife had introduced him too.He stayed with her family and even though the woman was not the one for him did not get out and meet others.He may never go back.I just wish he had that experience of meeting alot of pretty women at an agency and I think he would go back for sure.
I guess some guys get tired of reading about Cali.You don't have to go there if you don't want.Of course there are other places.I just think Cali is still where most the action is.We have had lots of success stories out of there(no place is even a close second) and yes success does create enthusiasm about Cali,which I guess gets a little old to hear about for some people.
