I need info about Bogota!!!

Guys,
    I am getting married to a young lady in Cali in December.  I met her on Friendfinder.com.  When we go to Bogota to get her Visa, is there a nice place to stay near the Consulate?  Any help you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated.

If you are going to be in Bogota for awhile, and I assume so, stay in the northern part of the city. Your time at the American Consulate will not be that much. I stayed in the Chico area and found it to be very nice. My wife and I were able to walk to the Unicentro Mall, very safley, and enjoy our stay there. e-mail me and I will be happy to give you more detail...

How nice do you want?We got married in Cali and stayed at the Pacifico Royale in Cali,5 stars in my opinion,$85 for a suite.When we went to Bogota we stayed at one of their sister hotels,the Andino Royale.It was 20 miniutes or so by car from the Embassy,not close.They had a driver that took us everywhere.It was $100 a night for a suite.I wanted a suite because my step son was along and I didn't picture sharing a room with him the second night of my marriage.
It all depends on your budget.
