Carrisse,

I noticed a few posts down you made a comment that I would like to ask you about.  You
said something like; 'Rings mean nothing to us...'  I would appreciate your thoughts on this
situation.  Since Ayesa started working, I have noticed that she isn't wearing her wedding
ring.  I asked her about it and she said that she was afriad that she was going to lose it.
She is in houskeeping at a big hotel near Metro Airport and is basicly working with her
hands all day, I can see where it would be easy for a ring to get lost with her job.  She
usually has her engagement ring on, which is smaller ,less likely to get caught on
something and less expensive.  Should I quit being paranoid and just take my wife at her
word, or do you think I should worry?  My wife is very practical, I can easiliy see how this
makes sense to her.  Am I just worrying about nothing?

Thanks :c)

Everyone Else :c)

Everything seems to be moving in the right direction, thank God!  We still have our
moments when communication is difficult, but it certainly seems like we are making
progress.  Nothing too eventful is going on, but I wanted to let you guys know that we are
ok for now :c)

Thanks!

H

Don't worry about a thing.  Ayesa values her wedding ring more than anything else.  I'm not into housekeeping job, but I do take my wedding ring off when I do menial jobs around the house or go swimming with friends.  And I've been doing this for 10 years!  My hubby teased me one time "are you afraid it's gonna turn green?"

Here, if a girl has a ring on her finger--it means she's probably engaged or married.

Back there--rings are seen as jewelry.  So young girls may wear several rings on their fingers but they may still be single.

As far as Ayesa not wearing her ring, don't you worry about a thing.  She's just practical and really values that one piece of jewelry--her wedding ring.  Trust her, my hubby doesn't wear his because he lost it three times.  I trust him and I know that he's faithful to me.

Good news about the update.
