Travel Agencies Specializing in LA

I thought awhile back there were some guys who had numbers of some travel agencies who were able to get pretty good fares to Colombia...anyone have any recommendations???

I've had mostly good luck with Intratours in Houston www.intratours.com .
 They have given me good prices, but when I needed a schedule change on a trip to Caracas they were a bit of a pain about it- not terribly motivated, since they already had my money, it seems. A few months ago they seemed to ignore an email request for fares to LA. When I finally got them to respond, about four days later, they told me they don't do fares from Europe to LA, something they could have told me much sooner. Their prices tend to be good, though.

I'm not sure where you live, but I thought it was Texas.  If you're near the border, you might try flying out of Mexico.  We've sometimes found better deals by traveling out of Tijuana (we live in San Diego).

I have used eXito (www.exito.com), a consolidator out of Oakland.  Following the WTC tragedy, they were being undersold by Grupo TACA's web sales, and even by Travelocity.com.  Airline travel does seem to be a buyer's market at the moment.

mike, try ABS travel and tours. www.abstravel.com   they had the cheapest flight that i could find. good luck

I've bought 4 round trip tickets to Colombia so far through ABS Travel. They're cheaper on the abstravel.com web-site. I recommend them. I also shopped around some. In one instance America Travel was cheaper but I got ABS Travel to match their price.
