I had an appointment at the INS service center in Sacramento for my wife's permanent adjustment of status in November of 2001. Yesterday I received a notice in the mail stating that the appointment had been set back to January, 2002, and several additional items of documentation were needed for the interview, including, but not limited to: Three years of tax returns (not the prvious two requested) all details of any arrest by police, whether or not there was a convicion, by either party, and on and on. Additionally, there was a notice that the interview would be video taped.
Sounds like the road will be rocky for all who want foreign wives.
